The 2023 Minnesota Legislature established the Paramedic Scholarship program to provide up to 600 scholarships for students entering eligible paramedic programs by 2026. A one-time appropriation of $3 million was provided to fund the Paramedic Scholarship; the funds will be awarded until all funds are disbursed or by June 30, 2026.
For the 2024-25 academic year, 298 scholarships had been awarded to students.
