Statewide Goals

All of the works at OHE is centered around two statewide goals: increasing educational attainment and raising the state's FAFSA filing rate.
The 2015 Minnesota Legislature established a goal that 70% of Minnesota adults (ages 25-44) will have attained a postsecondary certificate or degree by 2025.
To combat recent declines in FAFSA filing among Minnesota’s high school seniors, the 2020 Minnesota Legislature enacted legislation that established an annual goal for FAFSA filing among high school seniors.
